Raising the bar for Brunswick East

 
 

Balfe Park Lane is divided into four distinct buildings, creating a smaller, more intimate community of dwellings. The different buildings with their various footprints and proportions create much needed housing diversity – some apartments, some townhouses, some facing the courtyard and some facing the park. Sustainable Design for Conscious Living

Balfe Park Lane minimally impacts the environment by utilizing recycled building materials and a large 10Kw solar system for power generation. Incorporating passive design techniques, each dwelling efficiently regulates ambient temperature, significantly reducing heating and cooling costs. There’ll be plots for edible gardens and dedicated places for composting your waste. With a bold target of 7+ Stars NatHERS average rating, Balfe Park Lane is serious about being environmentally conscious and empowers the community to lower its carbon footprint.

Creating a Connected Community

The centrepiece of Balfe Park Lane is the laneway that cuts through the four buildings, activating Balfe Park. This laneway, with retail frontage and public access, weaves the local neighbourhood into the heart of the resident community. For residents, the community notice board on the ground floor, the communal rooftop garden, the large internal courtyard and the circulating walkways all come together to foster a strong sense of community between each dwelling. Community is one of the essential characteristics of a good life. Balfe Park Lane isn’t just advocating for community building, it is one.
